Core Project Group revitalised the University of Newcastle Library’s rooftop courtyard, turning an underused area into an inviting outdoor space for students and staff to study, relax, and connect.
The project included structural works, new paving, integrated seating, landscaping, and upgraded lighting to create a bright, functional courtyard with plenty of greenery. Careful planning and staging minimised disruption to the busy library below. This upgrade shows how smart design and quality construction can enhance campus life and provide spaces that support wellbeing and community connection.
