Completed in 2019, this 126 bed Residential Aged Care Facility saw a complete renewal for the former buildings on the Booragul site. Demolition of the former buildings on this active site allowed for the creation of this new state-of-the-art facility, complete with extensive landscaped areas, modular bathroom ensuites, open plan communal spaces, and break out zones for staff.
Following a competitive tender phase, our works included: - demolition of the former structures. - site clearing and excavation to cut to required levels. - extensive civil works including an artificial swale drainage system that runs under the new structure. - 126 bedrooms across 4 separate wings, all complete with modern finishes and fittings. - modular bathroom pods to allow for ensuites to be manufactured off site. - commercial kitchen facilities and cafes. - shared living spaces, function rooms and indoor communal areas. - office spaces and staff quarters. - extensive landscaped areas and external communal areas.
